Thanks to networks now putting selected shows online, I don’t have to bother waiting for shows to be placed on the torrent sites, or running a bittorrent client for that matter, I can just see shows on demand. Here is a list of the latest networks that have free full episode streaming on demand:

ABC - Has past and current season episodes of shows including Lost, Grey’s Anatomy, and Desperate Housewives. New player has a full screen mode. Decent video quality. Unfortunately, ABC pulls their shows offline during the summer off-season.

NBC - I only watch 30 Rock on NBC’s service so I don’t mind so much that the quality is complete shit. They do NOT offer The Office, so I still have to download that via other means if I miss it. There are other shows on this service, I just don’t watch any of them. Probably the weakest of all the services I’m listing here.

Fox - Fox’s player has improved greatly the last few weeks, quality and consistency has both improved. On their service I’m watching Bones (horrible show but I keep watching), 24 and American Dad. Multiple previous episodes are available. Quality is good.

Adult Swim - Not a lot of people know there are a ton of Adult swim episodes online, and a ton of them are great. Just go here and start browsing the people who bring you such greats as Robot Chicken, Brak, Metalocalypse and many others. It’s all good or at least interesting.

CBS - I know CBS has an on demand, free streaming service for their shows, I just don’t care because I watch nothing on CBS. Actually, the one time I tried there service it just kept playing the commercials over and over after getting halfway through the show. I haven’t bothered going back since.

CW Online - This is that weird combination of WB and UPN that continues to have no decent show to offer despite merging the best of their programs. But you can watch some of their crap online!
